Emotional Freedom Through EFT: A Beginner's Guide

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called "tapping," is a gentle yet powerful method for releasing emotional blockages and restoring inner balance.

What is EFT?

EFT combines elements of cognitive therapy with acupressure. By tapping on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on an emotional issue, you can release the charge associated with that emotion.

How to Practice

The basic process involves:

  • Identifying the issue you want to address
  • Rating its intensity on a scale of 0-10
  • Tapping on specific points while acknowledging the feeling
  • Re-rating the intensity after rounds of tapping

What Can EFT Help With?

EFT has been shown to help with anxiety, stress, phobias, trauma, pain, sleep issues, and emotional overwhelm. It's a tool you can use anywhere, anytime — no special equipment needed.

The beauty of EFT is its simplicity. Even children can learn it. And yet, its effects can be profound and lasting.
